Our brand new year starts with the Berwick Writer's Forum hugely popular Cabaret of Words. Join us for a superbly entertaining evening of sharing works in progress, published works and everything in between. The evening usually sells out so book quickly to avoid dissapointment.
Welcome to The Straw Yard, a new cultural and creative space in the historic town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. The Straw Yard is a registered C.I.C.​ and is managed by Tortive Theatre. The site serves as the company's rehearsal and development space. In addition to Tortive's work The Straw Yard is hosting a number of creative and cultural events throughout the year from partner organisations, hirers, artists, community groups and performers.
